Welcome to the Irrigation Management Research Group!

Our lab focuses on improving irrigation management through applied field research, modeling, and precision agriculture technologies. We study crop water use, soil water dynamics, nutrient movement, and irrigation practices to help growers improve water and nitrogen use efficiency while reducing environmental impacts. Our work combines field experiments, data analysis, and decision-support tools to advance practical, science-based irrigation strategies for Minnesota and beyond.
